I just need to get use to it right now my burners are not quite adjusted still getting a yellow to orange flame, they don™™t seem to lower very fast when I turn the knob, beside that it will take time to get use to my oven temperature, it™™s a propane.

On June 1, 2025, my husband and I purchased this Frigidaire stove/range model #FCRG3062AW, in white. It was delivered on June 9, 2025. It was defective from the start. The delivery crew couldn't hook it up, so we found out after they left when we hooked it up that the burners are dangerous. Four burner flames run way too high (even what they claim is a "quick boil" burner) and, because of this, they run dangerously too hot, even risking injury and burning our food. The fifth, center, burner flame is the opposite and does not run high enough or hot enough to cook with.My family has been living a nightmare with this stove since it arrived. The worst and most terrifying thing about the burners on this stove is that the burners hiss loudly when in use (sounds like way too much pressure coming through) and the flames are mixed with too much orange flame, from which giant orange flame flares regularly jump upward 4 to 7 inches high above the burners, which is terrifying and dangerous. These orange flame flares also come around the bottom of the edge of our pans and we are worried about getting burned or worse. I have almost caught my shirt on fire due to these abnormal high and volatile orange flames that come around the edge of the pans. So, we've had to use the burners on low to avoid food burning and sticking to pans and to be safer when cooking.We have made sure the burners are clean and they still malfunction. They have done this since the first time we turned them on.We contacted Frigidaire customer service promptly to file a service ticket. It took them several weeks to get someone here. They do not communicate, do not call you to update you; you have to call them to ask if they found a tech yet. They take their time. Three months later, we still have no resolution offered to us, despite two technicians coming here to "diagnose" the problem. The first tech did not know what was causing the high flames and too much pressure. He checked the stove's regulator and it did not adjust or reduce the flame height or the pressure coming through the burners. When I called Frigidaire to find out what they were going to do to fix our stove, the rep told me that the repair place said they "couldn't fix it" and to "call someone else." I called the repair place to ask about this and they said that is not what they told Frigidaire. I called Frigidaire and asked when they would be sending another tech to fix the stove, and they said it would take a while to find another tech in our area (come to find out, the tech that already already came is the only one in our area). After this, they ghosted us; no calls about when a tech would come. I let them know we would be reversing charges on our credit card if they did not get someone out here soon. They ghosted us again, so we reversed the charges on our card. Frigidaire lied to our card about what the tech wrote on his report, saying he checked the burner orifices and that they are normal and told us to contact "a plumber." That is not what the tech said, and I have a copy of his report. We have a new house and the gas pressure from the meter is within normal limits (7 inches of water column pressure) for a gas stove. Our previous stove had no burner issues, whatsoever. Our card ended up siding with them because of the lie about the tech on their report to our card. So, we have appealed and sent the tech's report to them. It took Frigidaire nearly a month to respond to our credit card dispute, as if they were trying to push the time to making it too late to return this stove.The height and intensity of the burner flames has worsened since we first contacted Frigidaire, almost three months ago. I called them again, two weeks ago, and had to demand they get a tech to come out here. I again expressed how dangerous the flames on this stove are. They set up a "sub ticket" on the previous ticket. Another tech came out here two days ago. He acted like nothing was wrong with the flames and said no repair is needed, seeming as if he was told to say that. He said he's never seen broken regulators in stoves and so he wasn't going to ask Frigidaire to send a new regulator. He did say to us that the burner orifice in the medium small burner looked too large to him. So, he called Frigidaire tech support in our kitchen and we listened to the conversation. The Frigidaire tech on the phone said the orifices are the right size and that this stove just runs high (that's a serious understatement). He also laughingly told our tech that lots of customers have been complaining about this stove model's burners running to high. He also told our tech that the orange flames that "normal" with this stove model is not a carbon monoxide concern (that's baloney!). Frigidaire is not honest. So, again, we are stuck with this dangerous stove. I have photos of the burner flares that I will attach to this review.Two days ago, I called their customer service again and stated that if they did not fix this stove or take it back, I am going to take Frigidaire to small claims court to get our money back and have them pick up this dangerous piece of junk. I told the agent that we want to return it and be refunded. She said we would have to wait for them to get the tech's report first and that his report had not yet come in and I'd have to call back tomorrow before returning the stove. I was pretty frustrated at this point and when I let her know I was writing everything down, she hung up on me.Had I known what a nightmare this stove was going to be and that Frigidaire has non-existent customer service and concern, I would have asked to return it from the start instead of thinking they would do the right thing and either fix it or replace it if not fixable. They have not offered once to replace or let us return it.Today I reported this to the BBB and will contacting the Consumer Product Safety Commission, as well as my local Detroit news stations. I've had enough. It's time for consumers to speak up about corporations that do nothing. I will be calling Frigidaire today to see if they will cooperate in letting us return this stove and get our money back. If they do not cooperate in this situation, I will be filing a small claims case. I encourage anyone who has had a nightmare like this to do the same. It's like customers are no longer respected when they receive damaged products.We will never purchase anything from Frigidaire again.

There are good things here, and not-so-good things.The good:-The stovetop grate system is very nice.-The controls are great - simple and intuitive.-The drawer underneath holds a lot!The average:-There are five different size/shape burners, a bit excessive. It would be nice to have two equal.-The burners are hard to control. A large percentage of the flame/temperature control is within a small turn of the knob.-The burner rings seem fragile.The not-good:-Very wimpy, small, electric coil broiler. it only covers about half the width of the stove, centered. The broiler is not integrated nicely with the oven temperature control/sensor. For instance, going back and forth between baking and broiling for certain dishes, the oven is very slow to respond when returning to the bake function. I would say that these weaknesses regarding the broiler would make this an oven, not really fit for someone who likes to cook different kinds of dishes.Overall, it looks good, the stovetop cooking is OK with some practice, and the broiler and broiler integration is limiting. Solid average.

After saying goodbye to our 17 yr old Frigidaire , it was time for a new one! The quality of this product is outstanding, the cast iron grates are sturdy and modern looking. The stove even seems bigger inside! The water seems to boil faster, the oven cook™™s better than the older one we had. Doesn™™t take forever to preheat , and the timer alarm is loud enough to let you know the items being cooked are done. Can™™t wait to try the oven cleaner feature! I let my wife write this, since she is the one using it!

It appears to be a good purchase operation wise. I'm disappointed that the oven light does not come on when the door is opened. There is also a change in the design of the back so it doesn't clear the gas pipe like the old one did. Consequently, it has to sit 3 inches away from the wall. There is also a small flaw in the finish under the high intensity burner which I hope never gets worse.

The purchase was easy, the product is great, I emailed to indicate during shipping the stove top had blemishes due to the burners not being properly secured and a couple of them sliding around during shipping. Asked if there was something I should try to get them out or did the top need to be replaced. No response. I resent with again no response. Here is one of the pics I sent.

I like the cleaning ease if my new range. Grates are easy to remove and clean.If there was one thing I would change, is the low setting is still too high on a couple if the burners. I even tried to adjust them following the instructions. But seems the low setting is as low as it gets. Otherwise it's a great range.

I bought this gas range and it has flames coming from the vent in the oven that are a foot high. We had the service guy out and he checked everything including the main gas line pressure which was normal. He changed the regulator on the stove and that didn't help. The service guy couldn't figure it out. I've had a Frigidaire gas stove for 16 years, the ignitor went out in the oven. I'm thinking of repairing that one before exchanging the new one. The quality is no longer in the product that it use to have.

I am an 85yr old female not likely to use all the functions offered on this model ie grilling, broiling, I believe it to be a good family model. I purchased it because of the clean lines and in need of a new range. I have found it easy to use, knobs readable, like the quick boil option and steam clean as opposed to the high heat of a self clean. The lower draw is wide and deep enough for my frequently used cookware and baking once again good. My old range, 24yrs, stopped heating.
